IESBJ invites original research contributions on topics spanning embedded systems, hardware design, real-time software, and the broader low-level computing ecosystem. Submissions are accepted year-round, open-access, and free of charge.

All submissions must be compiled from the official IESBJ LaTeX template.

Multilingual Submissions

Authors are encouraged to attach translations alongside the primary English file. Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, and other languages are supported.

Official Paper Template

All submissions must use the official IESBJ LaTeX template. Open in Overleaf, write your paper, compile, and submit the exported PDF.

Using the template is required. Submissions not following the template format will not be accepted.

Review Process

All submissions undergo editorial review by the IESBJ editor. Authors will be notified of the decision within 4 weeks. Accepted papers are published open-access at no charge.

  1. 1.Submit your paper via the online submission form.
  2. 2.The editor reviews for relevance, quality, and originality.
  3. 3.Authors are notified of the decision (accept or reject with reason).
  4. 4.Accepted papers are assigned a DOI-style identifier and published immediately.
  5. 5.Authors may attach multilingual translations at any time.

Important

Submissions must be your original work. Papers previously published elsewhere are welcome — simply disclose the original venue during submission. Work currently under review at another journal may not be submitted simultaneously. By submitting, you confirm authorship and grant IESBJ a non-exclusive license to publish your work openly. You retain full copyright.
